Description

A creamy and zesty Southwest Salad Dressing made with Greek yogurt, lime juice, and a blend of chili powder, paprika, and cumin. Perfect for adding a flavorful kick to your salads, this dressing is quick to prepare and can be stored for several days.

Ingredients

Southwest Salad Dressing

  • 1 cup plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1 Lime (juiced)
  • 1/2 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 tsp Honey
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Cilantro (finely chopped)
  • 2 tsp Water (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: Whisk all the ingredients except the water together in a medium-sized mixing bowl until fully combined and smooth.
  2. Adjust Consistency: Add water 1 teaspoon at a time, whisking after each addition, until the dressing reaches your preferred consistency. You may not need to use all the water.
  3. Store or Use: Use the dressing immediately on your salad, or store it in an airtight container or mason jar in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days.

Notes

  • You can adjust the honey amount to taste for more or less sweetness.
  • If you prefer a spicier dressing, increase the chili powder slightly.
  • For a thinner dressing, add more water gradually.
  • This dressing works well as a dip for veggies or a spread for sandwiches.
  • Make sure to refrigerate to keep the yogurt fresh and the flavor vibrant.
