Description

This Honey Chipotle Dressing is a creamy, smoky, and slightly sweet dressing made with Greek yogurt, chipotle peppers, and honey. Perfect for adding a flavorful kick to salads, vegetables, or proteins, it’s quick to make and can be easily customized for thickness.

Ingredients

Honey Chipotle Dressing Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Greek Yogurt (or substitute your favorite plant-based yogurt to keep it dairy-free)
  • 1 Chipotle Pepper (in adobo sauce)
  • 2 Teaspoons Honey
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1/4 Cup Water (optional, use if yogurt is especially thick)

Instructions

  1. Blend: Start by adding all of your dressing ingredients to a high-speed blender. This includes Greek yogurt, chipotle pepper, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, kosher salt, and optional water. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth.
  2. Check Consistency: Stop the blender and check the thickness of your dressing. If it is too thick, add a bit more water to thin it out. If too thin, add additional yogurt to thicken.
  3. Blend Again: Blend once more until you reach your desired consistency, ensuring the flavors are fully combined and the texture is creamy.
  4. Store: Transfer the dressing to a covered container and refrigerate it. It will keep fresh for up to one week. Use it as a flavorful topping for salads, vegetables, or your favorite proteins.

Notes

  • You can use plant-based yogurt to make this dressing dairy-free and vegan-friendly.
  • Adjust the chipotle pepper amount based on your preferred spice level.
  • Add water gradually to avoid over-thinning the dressing.
  • This dressing can be stored for up to one week in the refrigerator.
  • Use in salads, as a dip, or a sauce for grilled meats and roasted vegetables.
