Description

Sweet and aromatic Cinnamon Sugar Roasted Peaches, perfectly caramelized with a blend of cinnamon and vanilla. This easy and quick dessert recipe features ripe peaches roasted to tender perfection, ideal for serving warm over ice cream or enjoying chilled.

Ingredients

Peaches

  • 4 medium ripe peaches (about 25 ounces or 650 grams, pitted and sliced)

Seasoning

  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar (39 grams)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla bean paste

Instructions

  1. Prep: Preheat your oven to 400℉ (200°C). Slice the peaches and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Toss the peach slices with granulated sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla bean paste. Let the peaches rest for 10 minutes to release their natural juices.
  2. Roast the Peaches: Place the baking sheet in the oven and roast the peaches for 7 to 16 minutes, depending on desired tenderness. The peaches should be fragrant and slightly caramelized. Remove from oven and let them cool or serve warm.
  3. Serve + Store: Enjoy the roasted peaches warm over vanilla ice cream or as desired. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Notes

  • Use ripe peaches for best sweetness and flavor.
  • Adjust roasting time based on peach ripeness and thickness of slices.
  • Vanilla bean paste gives a more intense flavor than vanilla extract but can be substituted if unavailable.
  • These peaches pair wonderfully with ice cream, yogurt, or on their own as a healthy dessert.
  • Store leftovers refrigerated and consume within 3 days for optimal freshness.
