Ingredients

- 3 cups cherry tomatoes (halved)
- 1/2 cup red onion (roughly chopped)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 jalapeño pepper (seeded and roughly chopped)
- 1/3 cup fresh cilantro leaves (chopped)
Seasonings and Liquids
- 3 tablespoons lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (plus more to taste)
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a bowl, mix the halved cherry tomatoes, roughly chopped red onion, minced garlic, seeded and chopped jalapeño, and chopped cilantro leaves together.
- Add Seasoning: Pour in the lime juice, then sprinkle the salt and ground black pepper over the mixture.
- Mix and Adjust: Stir all ingredients well to combine. Taste the salsa and adjust the seasoning with additional salt or pepper if desired.
- Serve or Rest: Serve the salsa immediately for a fresher, crunchier experience, or let it sit for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together for a more balanced taste.
