Ingredients

Chicken and Seasoning

  • 2 large chicken breasts (about 1 pound total)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Wrap Ingredients

  • 4 whole wheat tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 375°F to prepare for cooking the seasoned chicken breasts evenly and efficiently.
  2. Season Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry, then season both sides thoroughly with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. If the breasts are thick, slice them horizontally to ensure even cooking.
  3. Cook Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket and cook for 12 to 15 minutes. Flip the chicken halfway through cooking to ensure even browning and that the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  4. Rest and Slice Chicken: Remove the chicken and let it rest for 5 minutes to retain juices. Then slice it into thin strips suitable for wrapping.
  5. Assemble Wraps: Lay out the whole wheat tortillas flat. Divide the sliced chicken evenly among them, then add 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese and a handful of fresh spinach leaves to each wrap.
  6. Fold Wraps: Fold the bottom edge of each tortilla upward, then fold in the sides and roll tightly to secure fillings inside.
  7. Air Fry Wraps: Place the wraps seam-side down into the air fryer basket. Cook at 350°F for 3 to 4 minutes until the tortillas are golden brown and crispy on the outside.
