Description

Delight in these rich and gooey White Chocolate Brownies, combining creamy white chocolate with a touch of dark chocolate for a decadent treat. Perfectly soft with a slight golden crust, these brownies are easy to make and ideal for sharing.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 Tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips (divided in half)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cups dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F, positioning the oven rack in the top third to ensure even baking of the brownies.
  2. Prepare Pan: Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper for easy removal of the brownies later.
  3. Melt Butter and White Chocolate: In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter and 3/4 cups of white chocolate chips. Microwave in 15-second intervals, stirring between, until completely melted and smooth.
  4. Mix Eggs and Sugar: In a separate large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together with a handheld electric mixer for about 2 minutes until the mixture is light and slightly foamy.
  5. Combine Ingredients: Add the melted butter and white chocolate mixture, flour, baking powder, and vanilla extract to the egg mixture. Beat with the electric mixer just until all ingredients are combined without overmixing.
  6. Fold in Chocolate Chips: Gently fold in 3/4 cups of the remaining white chocolate chips along with 3/4 cups of dark chocolate chips using a rubber spatula, ensuring even distribution throughout the batter.
  7. Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, starting to check at 20 minutes. The brownies are done when the edges are lightly golden and the center looks set.
  8. Cool and Serve: Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 20 minutes before cutting into 16 squares. They can also be enjoyed warm for extra gooeyness.

Notes

  • For clean-cut brownies, let them cool completely before slicing.
  • You can substitute dark chocolate chips for semi-sweet if preferred.
  • Microwaving in short intervals helps prevent burning the chocolate.
  • Use parchment paper with overhang for easy removal of the brownies from the pan.
