Description
This pistachio latte is a creamy, nutty twist on the classic coffee drink. Made with pistachio cream, espresso, milk, and a touch of vanilla, it’s smooth, indulgent, and perfect for cozy mornings or afternoon pick-me-ups.
Ingredients
80 ml espresso coffee (made from 18 g espresso powder or fresh beans)
150 ml milk (whole, semi-skimmed, or dairy-free)
30 g pistachio cream
¼ tsp vanilla extract
⅛ tsp sea salt
Optional: whipped cream, extra pistachio cream, chopped pistachio nuts
Instructions
- Preheat serving mug by filling it with hot water and setting aside.
- In a small pan, warm milk to 70°C / 160°F.
- Stir in pistachio cream, vanilla extract, and sea salt, whisking until smooth.
- Brew espresso and add to the pan, whisking continuously. Reheat gently to 70°C / 160°F if needed.
- Pour hot water out of the mug and fill with pistachio latte.
- Top with whipped cream, pistachio cream drizzle, and chopped pistachios if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use almond or oat milk for a dairy-free version.
- Add honey or maple syrup for extra sweetness.
- Turn into an iced latte by cooling and pouring over ice.
- Add cardamom or cinnamon for warmth.
- Make stronger with a double espresso shot.
