Description

A rich, creamy, high-protein peanut butter mousse made with cottage cheese and natural sweeteners—no baking required and ready in minutes.


Ingredients

1 cup cottage cheese (full‑fat or low‑fat)

2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter (natural, unsweetened preferred)

12 tablespoons sweetener (honey, maple syrup, or stevia)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 tablespoons cocoa powder (optional, for chocolate flavor)

Pinch of salt

Optional toppings: sliced bananas, fresh berries, chopped nuts, chocolate syrup


Instructions

  1. Prepare a blender or food processor; high-speed works best.
  2. Add cottage cheese, peanut butter, sweetener, vanilla extract, cocoa powder (if using), and a pinch of salt.
  3. Pulse a few times, then blend on medium-high for about 30–45 seconds until smooth and creamy. Scrape down sides as needed.
  4. Adjust consistency as needed—add a splash of milk if too thick, or more peanut butter or cottage cheese if too thin.
  5. Transfer mousse into bowls or jars and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
  6. Top with your favorite garnishes like fruit, nuts, or chocolate drizzle and serve chilled.
