Description

This Peanut Butter Bread recipe offers a moist, flavorful loaf that combines the creamy richness of peanut butter with a tender, sweet bread base. Perfect for breakfast, snack time, or an easy dessert, this homemade bread is straightforward to prepare and bakes to a golden perfection.

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 1¾ cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1½ cups milk
  • ½ cup white granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla flavoring
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare dry ingredients: In a prep bowl, mix together the all purpose flour, baking powder, and salt thoroughly. Set this mixture aside.
  2. Mix wet ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, white granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla flavoring until smooth and combined. Add in the creamy peanut butter and continue whisking until the peanut butter is fully incorporated into the wet mixture.
  3. Combine mixtures: Gradually add the dry flour mixture into the wet ingredients, stirring well until the batter is evenly mixed without lumps.
  4. Prepare for baking: Lightly grease a loaf pan to prevent sticking, then pour the prepared batter into the pan, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake: Place the loaf pan in an oven preheated to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 50 to 60 minutes. The bread is done when it is lightly browned on top and a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool and serve: Remove the bread from the oven and allow it to cool completely in the pan. Once cooled, gently remove the bread from the pan, slice, and serve.

Notes

  • Ensure the peanut butter is creamy for a smoother batter and better texture.
  • You can substitute milk with a dairy-free alternative for a lactose-free version.
  • Check the bread at 50 minutes to avoid overbaking depending on your oven.
  • For an extra touch, add chocolate chips or chopped nuts to the batter before baking.
  • Store leftover bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
