Description

Mediterranean Pizza is a gourmet-style pie topped with mozzarella, feta, Kalamata olives, sun-dried tomatoes, and red onions. With a golden crust and Mediterranean herbs, it’s a flavorful and colorful twist on traditional pizza—perfect for weeknight dinners or casual gatherings.


Ingredients

1 pack store-bought pizza dough (approx. 440 g / 15.5 oz)

1/2 cup pizza sauce

1 1/2 cups grated mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced

1/4 cup pitted Kalamata olives, sliced in half

1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes, sliced

1/2 red bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 tsp dried oregano

1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tbsp olive oil

Fresh basil, to top (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 525°F (275°C). Heat a pizza pan in the oven for 5 minutes, then brush it with olive oil.
  2. Prepare dough according to package instructions. On parchment or a floured surface, stretch into a 12–13 inch circle, leaving a raised crust edge.
  3. Transfer dough to the hot pizza pan.
  4. Spread pizza sauce evenly, leaving a 1-inch border.
  5. Top with mozzarella, then red onion, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, bell pepper, and oregano.
  6. Sprinkle crumbled feta, season with salt and pepper, and brush crust edges with olive oil.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted and crust is golden.
  8. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, top with fresh basil and a drizzle of olive oil. Slice and serve.
