Description

This Italian Beef Pasta Skillet is a quick and hearty one-pan dinner made with ground beef, macaroni noodles, tomato sauce, and gooey mozzarella. Perfect for busy weeknights, it’s ready in just 25 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 medium onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup uncooked macaroni noodles
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce mix
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the diced onion and red bell pepper. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Return the skillet to the heat and add tomato sauce, uncooked macaroni, tomato paste, garlic salt, beef broth, and marinara sauce mix. Stir to combine.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for about 15 minutes, or until the pasta is tender.
  4. Stir the mixture, then sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top. Cover again and cook until the cheese is melted.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy!
