This Italian Beef Pasta Skillet is a quick and hearty one-pan dinner made with ground beef, macaroni noodles, tomato sauce, and gooey mozzarella. Perfect for busy weeknights, it’s ready in just 25 minutes!
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 medium onion, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 cup uncooked macaroni noodles
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1 1/2 cups beef broth
- 1/4 cup marinara sauce mix
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the diced onion and red bell pepper. Drain any excess fat.
- Return the skillet to the heat and add tomato sauce, uncooked macaroni, tomato paste, garlic salt, beef broth, and marinara sauce mix. Stir to combine.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for about 15 minutes, or until the pasta is tender.
- Stir the mixture, then sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top. Cover again and cook until the cheese is melted.
- Serve hot and enjoy!

- Use whole wheat or gluten-free pasta for a healthier or gluten-free option.
- Add crushed red pepper for a little heat.
