Description
A refreshing, non-alcoholic Irish cream soda made with juicy strawberries, fizzy soda, and vanilla whipped cream—a vibrant and delicious drink perfect for warm days.
Ingredients
1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
2 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)
1 cup heavy cream
2 cups club soda or sparkling water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Ice cubes
Fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Combine sliced strawberries and sugar in a bowl. Let sit for 10 minutes until juices are released.
- In a separate bowl, whisk heavy cream and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Avoid overwhipping.
- In a tall glass, add 2–3 tablespoons of the strawberry mixture and fill with ice cubes.
- Pour club soda or sparkling water over the strawberries and ice. Stir gently.
- Spoon the vanilla cream on top, letting it float over the soda.
- Garnish with fresh mint if desired. Serve immediately with a straw.
Notes
- Use raspberries or peaches instead of strawberries for a seasonal twist.
- Substitute coconut cream for a dairy-free version.
- Add floral syrup like rose or elderflower for added flavor.
- Use tonic water for a more sophisticated taste.
- Top with vanilla ice cream for a dessert-style float.
