Description

A refreshing, non-alcoholic Irish cream soda made with juicy strawberries, fizzy soda, and vanilla whipped cream—a vibrant and delicious drink perfect for warm days.

Ingredients

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

2 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)

1 cup heavy cream

2 cups club soda or sparkling water

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Ice cubes

Fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine sliced strawberries and sugar in a bowl. Let sit for 10 minutes until juices are released.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk heavy cream and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Avoid overwhipping.
  3. In a tall glass, add 2–3 tablespoons of the strawberry mixture and fill with ice cubes.
  4. Pour club soda or sparkling water over the strawberries and ice. Stir gently.
  5. Spoon the vanilla cream on top, letting it float over the soda.
  6. Garnish with fresh mint if desired. Serve immediately with a straw.

Notes

  • Use raspberries or peaches instead of strawberries for a seasonal twist.
  • Substitute coconut cream for a dairy-free version.
  • Add floral syrup like rose or elderflower for added flavor.
  • Use tonic water for a more sophisticated taste.
  • Top with vanilla ice cream for a dessert-style float.
