Description

Iced Dragonfruit Milk Tea is a vibrant, refreshing drink that combines sweet tropical dragonfruit with creamy milk and your choice of tea. Naturally pink and visually stunning, this homemade milk tea is easy to make, customizable, and perfect for warm-weather sipping or a fun café-style treat at home.

Ingredients

1 tbsp tea of your choice (jasmine green, matcha, or black tea)

1 cup hot water

1 ripe pink-fleshed dragonfruit, peeled and sliced

12 tsp honey, sugar, or vanilla syrup (to taste)

24 tbsp cold water (for blending)

½ cup cold milk (dairy or plant-based)

Ice

Instructions

  1. Brew tea by steeping leaves in hot water for 2–4 minutes. Strain and let cool.
  2. Blend dragonfruit with cold water and sweetener until smooth. Adjust sweetness if needed.
  3. Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour in dragonfruit purée, then milk, then cooled tea.
  4. Serve layered for a café-style look, or stir gently for a creamy pink drink.

Notes

  • Best served immediately for freshness and color.
  • Prepare tea and dragonfruit purée in advance, then assemble before serving.
  • Use only pink-fleshed dragonfruit for the signature vibrant color.
  • For richer texture, swap in coconut milk.
  • Add tapioca pearls for a bubble tea twist.
