Whipped Greek Yogurt is a creamy, dreamy, and delicious no-bake dessert that combines Greek yogurt with heavy cream, maple syrup, and vanilla for a light and fluffy treat. Perfect for serving with fresh fruit and graham crackers or enjoying plain, this recipe is quick to prepare and stores well in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Ingredients
Yogurt Mixture
- 1 cup (240g) whole fat or 2% plain Greek yogurt (such as Fage)
- 1/4 cup (60g) cold heavy cream or whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons (30g) maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: Add all ingredients to the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, or alternatively use a hand mixer.
- Start Mixing: Begin mixing on low speed for about 20 seconds, allowing the liquid cream to start blending with the yogurt gradually. Slowly increase the mixer to the highest speed.
- Whisk to Peaks: After approximately 2 minutes of whisking, reduce the mixer speed and turn it off. Use a spatula to scrape down the sides and bottom of the bowl to ensure all ingredients are evenly mixed.
- Final Whip: Continue whisking for another 2 to 3 minutes until soft peaks form when the whisk is lifted. The peaks should hold but remain soft and not stiff.
- Serve or Store: The whipped Greek yogurt is ready to enjoy immediately. Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. It will thicken slightly as it chills.
