These homemade Bounty Bars are an easy no-bake treat made with just 4 ingredients. Featuring a sweet and chewy coconut filling coated in rich melted chocolate, they’re a perfect make-ahead dessert or snack for coconut lovers.
Ingredients
- 3 cups shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2/3 cup coconut condensed milk or standard condensed milk
- 1–2 cups chocolate, chopped (dark, milk, or white)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded coconut and powdered sugar.
- Add coconut condensed milk and mix until a thick batter forms.
- Lightly wet your hands and shape the mixture into 4-inch logs. Place them on a lined plate.
- Freeze the coconut logs for 10 minutes to firm up.
- Melt the chocolate in a microwave or double boiler.
- Dip each coconut log in melted chocolate using two forks, letting excess chocolate drip off.
- Place coated bars back on the lined plate and refrigerate until chocolate is set.
Notes
- Store leftovers at room temperature in a sealed container for up to 2 weeks, or refrigerate for longer shelf life.
- To make powdered sugar at home, blend white sugar in a food processor until powdery.
- For a firmer texture, add 2 tablespoons of coconut oil to the coconut mixture.
- Use sugar-free ingredients for a low-carb version.
- Customize with milk or white chocolate instead of dark chocolate.
