Description

These Homemade Bagel Chips are savory, crunchy, and buttery – the perfect easy snack or appetizer. Made with sliced bagels and a flavorful herb butter, they pair perfectly with a simple cream cheese dip or your favorite spread.

Ingredients

  • Bagel Chips:
  • 2 to 3 bagels, cut into 1/8-inch thick rounds
  • 10 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary (or 1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary)
  • 1½ teaspoons sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Cream Cheese Dip (Optional):
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 6 pickles, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice bagels into 1/8-inch thick rounds.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, rosemary, sea salt, and black pepper.
  4. Brush both sides of each bagel slice with the butter mixture and place them in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Let cool on the baking sheet.
  6. While chips are baking, prepare the dip: Mix cream cheese, chopped pickles, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt in a bowl until smooth.
  7. Serve the cooled bagel chips with the cream cheese dip or your favorite alternative dip.
