Description
A savory and creamy Garlic Parmesan Steak Tortellini dish featuring tender seasoned steak bites sautéed with fresh vegetables, combined with cheesy tortellini, and finished with a rich parmesan garlic sauce for a quick and flavorful meal.
Ingredients
Steak
- 2 steaks, strip, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 teaspoons steak seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Vegetables
- 1 yellow onion, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 2 zucchini, chopped
- 10 ounces grape tomatoes, halved
Pasta and Sauce
- 18 ounces fresh cheese tortellini
- ¼ cup chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons parmesan cheese, shredded, plus more for garnish
- ¼ cup Buffalo Wild Wings parmesan garlic sauce
- Parsley, fresh chopped, for optional garnish
Instructions
- Season the steak: Season the steak bites thoroughly with steak seasoning and set them aside to allow the flavors to infuse.
- Cook the steak: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the steak pieces and cook undisturbed for 2 minutes before stirring. Continue cooking for another 2 minutes until the steak is cooked through and golden brown on all sides.
- Sauté the vegetables: Add sliced onions, yellow bell peppers, and grape tomatoes to the skillet with the steak. Stir well and cook for about 5 minutes, or until the vegetables have softened and melded with the steak flavors.
- Add tortellini and broth: Stir in the fresh cheese tortellini and pour in the chicken broth. Cover the skillet and cook for 3 to 5 minutes until the tortellini is tender and has absorbed some of the broth.
- Finish with parmesan sauce: Remove the lid and stir in the shredded parmesan cheese along with the Buffalo Wild Wings parmesan garlic sauce until everything is well combined and creamy.
- Garnish and serve: Garnish the dish with freshly chopped parsley and additional parmesan cheese if desired. Serve the Garlic Parmesan Steak Tortellini immediately while hot.
Notes
- Using fresh tortellini yields the best texture but frozen can be substituted if needed.
- Adjust the steak seasoning to your taste preference for spiciness.
- If chicken broth is not available, vegetable broth or water can be used as alternatives.
- For a less rich dish, reduce the amount of parmesan cheese or sauce.
- Feel free to swap out vegetables based on seasonality or preference.
