Ingredients
1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons butter
5 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup beef broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Pat steak bites dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites and sear for 3–4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in beef broth, scraping the pan to release browned bits. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.
- Simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens and becomes smooth.
- Return steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- For richer flavor, substitute ribeye or NY strip for the sirloin.
- Add mushrooms or spinach for a heartier dish.
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for a smoother sauce.
- Do not overcook steak—sear quickly over high heat for best texture.
- Pairs beautifully with pasta, mashed potatoes, or crusty bread.
