Ingredients

Pizza Base and Sauce

  • 1 spray Cooking spray
  • 1 frozen thin pizza crust (dairy and/or gluten free, if necessary)
  • 2 ½ tsp olive oil, divided
  • 2 ½ Tbsp jarred crushed garlic

Toppings

  • 10 oz frozen whole leaf spinach, thawed and drained
  • 3 oz feta cheese (dairy free if necessary)
  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 tsp 100% Pure Raw & Unfiltered Honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven and Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 425° Fahrenheit. Lightly coat a non-stick pizza pan with cooking spray to prevent sticking, and then place the frozen pizza crust on the pan.
  2. Prepare the Crust: Drizzle 1 ½ teaspoons of olive oil over the pizza crust. Using a spoon, evenly spread the jarred crushed garlic onto the crust to infuse it with a robust garlic flavor.
  3. Add Spinach and Toppings: Use paper towels to thoroughly pat the thawed spinach dry, removing excess moisture. Spread the spinach over the pizza crust. Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese on top, followed by a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes for some heat. Drizzle the remaining olive oil over the toppings to enhance flavor and help the toppings bake nicely.
  4. Bake the Pizza: Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 14-16 minutes, or until the cheese begins to brown and the crust is crispy.
  5. Finish with Honey and Serve: After baking, remove the pizza from the oven and drizzle 2 teaspoons of raw honey over the top. Slice and serve immediately for a sweet and savory delight.

Notes

  • Ensure the spinach is well drained to avoid a soggy pizza crust.
  • If dairy or gluten is a concern, opt for dairy-free feta and gluten-free pizza crusts.
  • Adjust the amount of crushed red pepper flakes to control pizza spiciness.
  • Raw honey adds a unique flavor contrast; substitute with agave or maple syrup for a vegan option.
  • Using a non-stick pizza pan helps in achieving a crispy bottom crust.
