Description

These Crispy Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings are tender on the inside, golden and crunchy on the outside, and coated in a rich garlic butter and Parmesan cheese mixture. A perfect appetizer or main dish that’s always a crowd favorite.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 23 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 3 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Place an 8-quart saucepan with a steamer basket and 2 inches of water over high heat. Cover and bring to a boil.
  2. Add chicken wings to the basket and steam for 10–12 minutes.
  3. Remove wings and place them on a cooling rack set over a baking sheet. Refrigerate for 1–2 hours to dry out the skin.
  4. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Bake wings for 20 minutes, flip, then bake another 20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine olive oil, butter, and salt over low heat until melted. Add minced garlic and cook for 3 minutes. Remove from heat.
  6. Transfer baked wings to a large bowl. Pour garlic butter mixture over them, then add Parmesan cheese and parsley. Toss to coat evenly.
  7. Serve wings on a platter and sprinkle with additional Parmesan if desired.

  • Refrigerating the wings after steaming helps to dry the skin, ensuring maximum crispiness when baked.
