Description

These Cranberry Meatballs are a flavorful and easy appetizer, perfect for parties, potlucks, game days, or holiday gatherings. Made with frozen turkey meatballs and a tangy, sweet cranberry-chili sauce, they simmer in the crockpot for a hassle-free, crowd-pleasing dish.

Ingredients

  • 26 ounces frozen bite-size turkey meatballs
  • 14 ounces whole cranberry sauce (or substitute with grape jelly)
  • 12 ounces Heinz Chili Sauce
  • 1 ½ tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 ½ tablespoons dark brown sugar
  • Optional garnish: chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Place frozen turkey meatballs into a slow cooker set to low heat.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together cranberry sauce, chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar until well combined.
  3. Pour the sauce over the meatballs in the slow cooker and stir to coat evenly.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, stirring occasionally to ensure even cooking and coating.
  5. When ready to serve, switch the slow cooker to the “warm” setting and garnish with chopped green onions, if desired.

Notes

  • This recipe uses turkey meatballs, but you can substitute with beef, pork, or plant-based meatballs if preferred.
  • Use grape jelly in place of cranberry sauce for a different sweet-savory flavor profile.
  • To make ahead, combine sauce ingredients and refrigerate; assemble and cook when ready to serve.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop over low heat.
