Description

This Classic Pecan Pie Recipe is incredibly easy to make and features a rich, gooey filling loaded with sweet pecans inside a flaky pie crust—perfect for any holiday dessert table.

Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups pecans, coarsely chopped
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together corn syrup, eggs, sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Stir in the chopped pecans and a pinch of salt using a wooden spoon.
  4. Pour the filling into the prepared, uncooked pie crust.
  5. Bake on the center rack of the oven for 60 to 70 minutes, or until the center springs back when tapped.
  6. If the pie crust edges begin to brown too quickly, cover them with foil to prevent burning.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack for 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Use a store-bought or homemade pie crust depending on your preference.
  • Let the pie cool completely to ensure the filling sets properly.
  • Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence.
