Description

Cinnamon Roll Bites transform classic canned cinnamon rolls into bite-sized, cinnamon sugar-coated treats perfect for dipping in sweet icing. Easy to make and quick to bake, these delightful snacks are a hit for family gatherings or as an indulgent breakfast bite.

Ingredients

Cinnamon Roll Bites

  • 2 (1.55 ounce) cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing, 8 count each (16 cinnamon rolls total)
  • 4 tablespoons butter

Cinnamon Sugar Coating

  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare Baking Sheet: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Prepare Cinnamon Rolls: Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and separate each roll. Set aside the icing packets for serving later. Cut each cinnamon roll into four equal pieces. Roll each piece into a small ball using the palm of your hands and place them about an inch apart on the baking sheet.
  3. Bake the Bites: Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the bites turn golden brown.
  4. Mix Cinnamon Sugar: While the bites are baking, whisk together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl and set aside.
  5. Cool and Coat Bites: Remove the baked cinnamon roll bites from the oven and let them cool for five minutes. Meanwhile, melt the butter until liquid. Place the slightly cooled bites into a large bowl or resealable plastic bag, pour the melted butter over them, and toss to coat evenly.
  6. Add Cinnamon Sugar: Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the butter-coated bites and toss again until each bite is well coated with the cinnamon sugar.
  7. Serve: Serve the cinnamon roll bites warm with the reserved icing for dipping, making for a sweet and delicious treat.
