Description

This creamy and delightful Cheesecake Dip is a quick and easy no-bake treat perfect for gatherings. Combining whipped cream, cream cheese, and vanilla, this dip offers the rich flavor of cheesecake without the hassle of baking. Serve it chilled with graham crackers, pretzels, strawberries, or cookies for a crowd-pleasing appetizer or dessert.

Ingredients

Dip

  • ⅔ cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar, divided (65g + 65g)
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla paste
  • 16 oz (454g) cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream

Dippers (optional)

  • Graham crackers (regular or chocolate)
  • Pretzels
  • Strawberries
  • Cookies

Instructions

  1. Whip the Cream: In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to combine the heavy cream, ½ cup (65g) of powdered sugar, and vanilla paste. Beat until stiff peaks form, creating a light and airy whipped cream base.
  2. Prepare Cream Cheese Mixture: In a separate large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, remaining ½ cup (65g) powdered sugar, and sour cream with an electric mixer until the mixture is smooth and creamy without lumps.
  3. Combine Mixtures: Using a spatula, gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined. Be careful not to deflate the whipped cream to keep the dip light and fluffy.
  4. Chill and Serve: Serve the dip immediately with your chosen dippers, or refrigerate it for a firmer texture. If chilled and too firm, let it sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes and stir gently before serving.

Notes

  • The dip firms up when chilled, so allow it to sit at room temperature briefly if it becomes too thick.
  • Vanilla paste can be substituted with vanilla extract if unavailable.
  • For a tangier flavor, you can increase the sour cream by 1 tablespoon.
  • Feel free to experiment with different dippers like apple slices or vanilla wafers.
  • Make sure the cream cheese is softened to ensure a smooth mix without lumps.
