Description

Cheeseburger Pizza is the ultimate fusion of two comfort food favorites—juicy cheeseburgers and cheesy pizza! Featuring a homemade crust, seasoned ground beef, burger-style sauce, pickles, ketchup, mustard, and melted Colby Jack cheese, this is party food at its best.

Ingredients

  • For the Pizza Dough:
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 (1/4 oz) packet pizza crust yeast
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup very warm water
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • For the Pizza:
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons ketchup, divided
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 2 cups Colby Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup dill pickle chips, drained
  • Mustard (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Lightly grease a 12-inch pizza pan and set aside.
  2. Make the Dough: In a large bowl, combine 1 cup flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add warm water and olive oil, stirring until well combined. Gradually mix in remaining flour until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms.
  3. Turn dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 4 minutes, adding more flour as needed until smooth and elastic.
  4. Press dough into the prepared pizza pan to form the crust.
  5. Beat the egg with 1 tablespoon water and brush onto the outer edge of the dough. Sprinkle edges with sesame seeds.
  6. Cook the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with seasoned salt, black pepper, and diced onion until no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
  7. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, 2 1/2 tablespoons ketchup, and hot sauce until smooth. Spread this sauce over the pizza dough.
  8. Top with cooked beef mixture and sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the top.
  9. Drizzle remaining 1 1/2 tablespoons ketchup and desired amount of mustard over the pizza. Add dill pickle chips.
  10. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the center is bubbly.
  11. Cool slightly before slicing. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Store-bought pizza dough can be used for convenience.
  • Customize toppings to your taste—add bacon, tomatoes, or swap cheeses.
  • For extra crispiness, bake the crust for a few minutes before adding toppings.
