Description

Buffalo chicken pizza rolls are a spicy, cheesy snack that combines the bold flavor of Buffalo wings with the comfort of pizza. Made with refrigerated dough, shredded chicken, hot sauce, and gooey cheese, these crispy air fryer rolls are perfect for game day, parties, or a quick dinner appetizer.


Ingredients

1/2 cup shredded cooked chicken

2 ounces low-moisture part-skim mozzarella cheese, shredded (about 1/2 cup)

2 1/2 tablespoons Buffalo-style hot sauce (such as Frank’s® RedHot)

1 (13.8-ounce) can refrigerated pizza crust dough (such as Pillsbury®)

Nonstick cooking spray

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon ranch dressing mix

Ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing, for serving


Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix chicken, mozzarella, and hot sauce until evenly coated.
  2. Roll out pizza dough into a 6×20-inch rectangle. Cut into eight 3×5-inch rectangles.
  3. Brush dough edges with water. Place 1 tablespoon filling in center of each rectangle, roll into a log, and pinch edges to seal. Place on parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 2 minutes. Spray basket with cooking spray.
  5. Working in batches, arrange rolls in a single layer and cook 7 minutes, until golden brown.
  6. Mix melted butter and ranch seasoning. Brush over cooked rolls.
  7. Serve warm with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • Blue cheese crumbles can replace mozzarella for authentic Buffalo wing flavor.
  • Add green onions or celery for extra crunch in the filling.
  • If no air fryer, bake at 400°F for 12–15 minutes.
