Description

This flavorful BBQ Ranch Dressing combines creamy Greek yogurt with tangy barbecue sauce and fresh herbs to create a versatile and zesty condiment. Perfect as a salad dressing, dip, or sauce, it offers a healthy twist on traditional ranch with added smoky barbecue flavor and a hint of dill and parsley.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced flat leaf parsley or 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh dill or ½ teaspoon dried dill
  • ½ teaspoon Kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1-3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar and/or additional olive oil (if needed)

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: Add the Greek yogurt, barbecue sauce, olive oil, parsley, dill, Kosher salt, onion powder, and garlic powder into a bowl or jar. Stir well or cover and shake vigorously to mix thoroughly.
  2. Adjust Consistency: If the dressing is too thick, thin it out by stirring in 1 to 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and/or more olive oil until it reaches a pourable consistency.
  3. Chill and Serve: Refrigerate the dressing for at least a couple of hours to let the flavors meld. Stir again before serving to ensure an even texture.

Notes

  • This dressing can be used as a salad dressing, dip for veggies or chips, or a sauce for grilled meats.
  • Adjust the amount of apple cider vinegar and olive oil to suit your preferred dressing thickness and tanginess.
  • For best flavor, prepare in advance and allow to chill for several hours.
