Ingredients
6 medium chicken drumsticks (~1 1/2 lbs)
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted (or olive oil or avocado oil)
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (218°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and place an oven-safe rack on top.
- Pat chicken legs dry with paper towels. Arrange on the rack.
- Brush drumsticks with melted butter. Sprinkle evenly with smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Bake 25 minutes, flip, and bake another 10–20 minutes until internal temperature reaches 170°F (77°C).
- Optional: Broil for a few minutes for extra-crispy skin.
- Rest 5 minutes before serving.
