Description

Acorn Candy Cookies are a fun and festive no-bake fall dessert made with chocolate kisses, mini vanilla wafers, and butterscotch chips. Perfect for Thanksgiving, holiday gatherings, or as a kid-friendly activity, these bite-sized acorn treats are easy to assemble and irresistibly cute.

Ingredients

1 tablespoon prepared chocolate frosting

24 milk chocolate candy kisses (such as Hershey’s Kisses), unwrapped

24 mini vanilla wafer cookies (such as Nilla)

24 butterscotch chips

Instructions

  1. Smear a small amount of chocolate frosting onto the flat bottom of a chocolate kiss. Press onto the flat bottom of a vanilla wafer cookie.
  2. Add a small dab of frosting to the flat side of a butterscotch chip. Press onto the rounded top of the same cookie to form the acorn stem.
  3. Repeat with remaining frosting, kisses, wafers, and butterscotch chips.
  4. Set aside for about 30 minutes to allow the frosting to firm up.
  5. Serve as a sweet snack or decoration.

Notes

  • Use peanut butter or Nutella instead of frosting for a different flavor.
  • Swap butterscotch chips with chocolate or peanut butter chips.
  • Dip the wafer edge in melted chocolate for an extra treat.
  • Add sprinkles before the frosting sets for a festive touch.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
